FREESTYLE BATTLE FINALS

FREESTYLE BATTLE RULES

ORGANIZATION • Skaters are gathered in groups of 4, according to a crossed-chart following the world-ranking. The two best skaters of each group go through to the next round and the two last are kicked out.

GROUPS • The skaters go one by one for runs of 30secs. There are more runs as you reach the highest rounds: 2x30sec at qualifiers, to 3x30sec, and 3x30sec + 1 last trick (2 attemps if necessary) in the final.

JUDGING CRITERIA • Mainly TECHNIQUE (difficulty and variety of tricks/combos, body control, speed and smoothness) and ADAPTABILITY/STRATEGY (how the skaters interact and choose their combos according to their rounds and opponents).
